WelcomeOver the next year Community Places will work with Councils and Community Development Network organisations in three local Council areas. This project aims to raise awareness of the new power of Community Planning and to provide opportunities for people to get involved in shaping the planning and provision of places and local services which matter to them.
We will test the following techniques: Community Visioning - Pop-Up Democracy - Citizen Reporting - Public Forums - Participatory Card Games. For information on Community Planning please visit our Community Planning Toolkit website |
Sharing the Learning EventOn Tuesday 27 September 2016 we held an event to share the learning from the Project. We had the pleasure of hearing from David Allen from the Scottish Community Development Centre who provided an update on the revised Scottish National Standards for Community Engagement.
